Q: How does it work — do I need to do anything to set it up?
A: No setup needed beyond placing it outside. The solar panel on top charges the internal battery throughout the day, and the built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor switches the LED on automatically when it gets dark. Just make sure it's positioned somewhere that receives daylight — it doesn't need direct sun to charge, but more light means a longer glow each evening.

Q: How long does it stay lit each night?
A: On a full day's charge in good light, expect around 6–8 hours of glow. On overcast days it will be less — typically 4–6 hours. In the depths of winter with limited daylight, you may get 3–4 hours. Placing it in the brightest available spot in your garden makes a noticeable difference year-round.

Q: Can it stay outside all year, including winter?
A: Yes — it's made from weather-resistant resin and is designed for permanent outdoor use. It'll handle rain, wind, and light frost without any issues. If you're expecting a prolonged hard freeze, bringing it indoors temporarily will help preserve the battery life over time, but it's not essential.

Q: How big is it — will it work as a table or shelf ornament?
A: It stands 25cm tall and 18cm wide — roughly the size of a small vase. It works well on a garden wall, outdoor table, patio shelf, or windowsill, as well as placed directly in a border or on a lawn. It's compact enough to be versatile but substantial enough to hold its own as a decorative piece.
